Help Welcome

Right now I am working on my first breyer with pastels. It is a classics arabian model. It's going well, though I know I need a lot of practice. I'm planning to do a dark brown coat (for lack of better words) If anyone has any tips for using pastels it would be greatly appreciated!!!!!
